Special Notes:  Real 1 Tons came with 56" rear springs from the factory. Some owners convert the long spring to a more common 52" rear spring by moving the rear spring hangers forward. The holes are usually already in the frame. These trucks came with square rear u-bolts from the factory. We run into a lot of these trucks that have been converted to round u-bolts by a previous owner. If your 1 Ton has round rear u-bolts, you will need to purchase these u-bolts separately since all of the kits contain square U-bolts. Straight axle 88-91 Crew Cabs use this kit. 88-91 3500 new body style IFS trucks use the later model kits.
