Hydraulic winches offer more constant power than electric winches. Power does not fade as the battery drains as in an electric application. These Milemarker hydraulic winches run off of the power steering pump, eliminating the need for expensive hydraulic motors. The only drawback is that your engine must be running to use a hydraulic winch. These winches have been tested by the U.S. military in the most severe applications.
Make sure that you order the required adapter for your vehicle.
