The RockBrawler front bumper is a "mid-width", high clearance bumper designed to combine hard core off-road performance with full features. This bumper is fabricated from 3/16" plate steel, CNC laser-cut and precision brake-formed into a low profile, high clearance design. The ends of the bumper extend far enough to protect the lower corner of the grille, but not far enough to hinder tire clearance or tire access to vertical obstacles. The faceted design of the RockBrawler front bumper provides the best ground clearance and approach angle possible in a bumper that doesn't require frame modifications.

Any winch with a standard 10" X 4.5" mounting pattern will bolt right on to the RockBrawler front bumper. If mounting a winch, you'll need a Winch Fairlead Mount, sold separately.

Optional Recovery Shackle Tabs are modeled after the high clearance tabs designed for our hard core BFH series bumpers. These tabs are angle to provide maximum approach angle. They are CNC machined from 1" thick steel billet, specifically designed to accept our heavy duty 3/4" Recovery Shackles. Selecting this option will get you a pair of these tabs, expertly welded to the RockBrawler bumper. The RockBrawler spare tire carrier is built from the highest quality components. The main structure of the tire carrier is fabricated from NC-bent DOM tubing and laser-cut, precision brake-formed plate steel. The extreme duty hinge assembly includes a CNC machined spindle and housing, with a pair of Timken tapered roller bearings for smooth operation under the heaviest loads. The latch is a high quality automotive grade mechanism, concealed in a fabricated housing. There is a spring-loaded pin-lock with stainless steel slider plate that locks the tire carrier into the open position to keep it from swinging around while accessing the Jeep's tailgate. The Poison Spyder Customs BFH II rear bumper is designed for those hardcore four-wheelers who value strength, simplicity and function. This bumper was literally "Built For the Hammers" designed with light weight, toughness and performance in mind. It is basically a "frame cap" style bumper, hugging the rear end of the Jeep's frame and crossmember to provide the best obstacle clearance and departure angle possible. But unlike other frame cap bumpers that are on the market, the BFH II incorporates signature Poison Spyder style, with multiple angles and facets to give the bumper great looks on top of its hard core funcionality.

The BFH II is CNC laser-cut from high strength 3/16" plate steel, then precision brake-formed for an exact fit over the Jeep's rear frame and crossmember. The heavy duty recovery shackles are CNC machined from 1" thick plate steel, and welded both inside and outside the bumper shell. The tabs are standard equipment on the BFH II, and are designed to accept 3/4" recovery shackles (AKA "D-Rings"). This bumper is available in bare steel only it will need to be painted or powder coated prior to final installation.

The BFH II Rear Bumper is easily installed using captured grade-8 hardware and the Jeep's existing bumper mounting holes. The Poison Spyder Jeep TJ Rear Bumper Brace Kit adds more strength to your TJ's rear bumper mounting. This is especially important if you intend to tow, use bumper-mounted recovery points, or a bumper-mounted spare tire carrier. This is a recommended upgrade for all Poison Spyder TJ rear bumpers, including the RockBrawler and BFH line of rear bumpers.

The braces are CNC laser cut and precision brake-formed from 3/16" plate steel. They include a strengthening gusset to provide additional strength over competitors' non-gussetted braces. There is an access hole conveniently placed in the center of the gusset for a socket to reach the rear body mount nut, if needed. Nut plates with both nuts welded to a single plate to simplify installation are supplied, which are inserted inside the frame rail so that the supplied Grade 8 hardware securely clamps the wall of the Jeep's frame rail. The TJ Rear Bumper Braces and Nut Plates are bare steel, and will need to be painted or powder coated prior to final installation.
