When installing Poison Spyder DeFenders, the Inner Fender kit provides splash protection to the engine compartment as well as a place to mount under-hood accessories. The Inner Fender Kit also provides for a complete, bolt-in DeFender installation for those who either do not have their stock inner fenders or would rather sell them than cut and re-use them. Each inner fender is a 3-piece bolt-together assembly, made of CNC laser cut aluminum sheet. Please note that no accessory mounting holes or brackets are provided, as each installation is left to the discretion of the installer to decide where to mount components. Most stock inner fender-mounted components can be re-mounted to the DeFender Inner Fenders by simply drilling a hole and/or fabricating a simple bracket. We have not yet found an elegant solution for retaining the stock air box, so an aftermarket air intake or open air filter element (such as a K&N conical filter) is recommended.

Comp Stingers may be reinforced with horizontal support tubes as shown in the "action" photos above, however these are not included in the kit. Stingers are shipped bare steel.

Poison Spyder Stingers do NOT include winch mounting provisions, but they will work with any manufacture's winch mount plate, as will OE or most aftermarket tow hooks. If a stronger recovery point is desired check out Poison Spyder's D-Ring Shackle Tabs or perhaps opt for our BFH Bumper with Trail or Comp Stinger. Relocation of any bumper-mounted auxiliary lights is required, but we offer a variety of Fairlead Light Mounts to relocate auxiliary lights to the top of your roller or hawse winch fairlead.

This product ships as bare steel it will need to be painted or powder coated prior to final installation. We do not offer a powder coat option for this item.
